It’s alive!!! Dead Rising, Book 1 in my new Templar Series, was released yesterday. You can get it at Amazon, and if you’re a member of Kindle Unlimited, then you can read it for free.
Last Breath, book 2, is in revisions right now and will go off to edit in February for a March 17th release date. It’s available on pre-order HERE.
Which means in a few weeks I’ll be starting on book 3, Bare Bones. Stay tuned for a cover reveal and release date on that one. After I have those 3 books out, I’ll be turning my attention back to Sam and book 8 of the Imp Series – Exodus.
Happy reading!

My bad – I didn’t select the auto-renew for Kindle Unlimited on Dead Rising, and it was temporarily unavailable for borrow. I corrected this a few days ago and I’m hoping it’s now back on the KU rosters!
The Templar Series will continue to be on KU until mid-August, and then it will leave KU, but be available through distributors besides Amazon.

In the blog post you mentioned that Dead Rising would be available on kindle unlimited, unfortunately this does not appear to be the case in the UK, maybe I should just be a bit more patient, or less cheap and actually buy it!

I fell behind on blog posts in getting Last Breath out and working on book 3 – Bare Bones. Bad, bad author!

Is there any problem? Last Breath is still not even announced in this Blog. It’s a good succession to this first part.

Or your can read it on Amazon cloud right on your computer. You do not need to have an actual kindle….just an Amazon account (which is free).

We’re supposed to get reports on them, but I think Amazon waits until there are a certain number of comments first. I’m so sorry about the typos! My long-time, much beloved editor has left editing to concentrate on her own books, and I’m getting settled in to a new process with a set of proofreaders/editors. Last Breath (book 2) should be much cleaner at launch.

Thank you! The series has a very different style than my Imp one, and I’m thrilled to hear when readers enjoy both.

I plan to move the series to wide distribution late summer/early fall. If you can’t wait, I do believe there are some programs (I’m thinking Calibre is one?) that convert the Kindle mobi files to epub.

I would read it, if I could, but I do not have a Kindle. Any word if it will be available on other platforms?

Huge fan of the imp series. Really. Just love it. Did I mention? Big fan?
Just wanted to leave a message about Dead Rising though. At first, I was like …”boo..it’s not Sam!”. But, I am really enjoying it. You make the characters come to life and I never doubt them or worry that they must suffer a split personality disorder. The story moves along nicely and …bonus…I don’t feel the need to skip bits due to needless repetition.
Thank you for another wonderful escape.

Is this coming out anywhere else besides Amazon? I don’t have a Kindle.

I finished the book last night. Overall, it was enjoyable and brought a few new quirks to a genre I’ve probably become overly saturated with. I’ll be buying the sequel.
I have a minor question though. I caught a couple simple typos. Being bored I used the kindle highlight function and reported a content “typo” error. Do these reports even make it back to the author? Just curious if I wasted my time or not.
