Oh, it is so awesome to receive comments like yours! I’m thrilled you’re enjoying the series so far, and I can totally empathize with running on empty to finish a great book. And now, I’m motivated to get my nose firmly back on the grindstone so I can move Book 3 along.
I just had to stop by and say I’m very upset with you. Last night I loaded your novel, A Demon Bound, onto my iPad. Silly me, I though I’d just read a few pages to see if I liked it. If your really knew how many books I toss away within the first few pages without the author ever knowing, you would get why this wasn’t an unreasonable plan. I have a tougher time than anyone knows finding novels that appeal to me.
Do you have any idea what happened after I started reading yours? No, of course not, but I’m going to tell you. I am currently running on three hours sleep and already began reading the sequel, Satan’s Sword. I barely tore myself away to write that review you saw on my blog from the last novel I read amd managed to like (before yours) and to cook dinner. I’ve missed one of my favorite tv shows tonight and I’m exhausted. But do I go to sleep? No, I’m right back to reading your book. This is seriously ALL YOUR FAULT for writing such an amusing series that I’m lacking in discipline to put down. I’m ex-military. I should be way more hard core than that. The worst part is I’m going to be begging you to hurry up and finish the third one so I don’t have to wait too long. The inhumanity and injustice of it all is too much to contemplate. I’m going now…to read. Sigh.
