We’re adding a family member in a few weeks. He may not be Boomer, but this bloodhound pup has just as much personality.
Look at that adorable, wrinkly face! Yes, we’re going to have drool everywhere, big slobbery kisses and soulful eyes.
And here he is, hot on the trail of. . .something. Kibble? Pork chops? A pair of my shoes?
Enough of the cuteness – suggest a name for our new pup either in the comments or on my Facebook page and be entered in a random drawing to win a signed paperback copy of Stolen Souls (which will be out about the time this little guy is peeing on our floors and chewing up the drapes. One entry per person, although feel free to suggest more than one name. I’ll announce the winner March 7th, as well as this little guy’s name.
Good luck!

I think Handsome would work well for him.

He looks serious – LOL…. I have worked with some really great S&R dogs – if you can find a good trainer, it is massively rewarding for both the dog and yourself. He is a CUTIE!!! Congrats on the new baby!

Great ideas – keep them coming!
Leiah – I’m thinking of possibly training him for search and rescue. He’s more serious compared to the others in the litter and very focused on following his nose.

The most famous tracker in history was a Bloodhound named “Nick Carter.” Called the greatest man-trailer in history, he brought about more than 600 convictions and holds the world’s record for following a trail 105 hours old that
resulted in a confession.
Your little guy looks like he could be a world-famous Bloodhound too!
