Hellhounds generally bring up visions of giant mastiffs.  Powerful dogs with big slobbering jaws full of teeth, multiple heads, and glowing eyes.  They guard the gates of hell, graveyards and the dead.  Hearing their howl can be an omen of approaching death.  Cerberus of Greek mythology is probably the most famous, but supernatural black dogs can be found in folklore from many cultures, especially in Great Britain.

When I began my Imp series, I wanted to show Sam as “normal

  1. Thank you! Boomer says “hi” back and is glad both the human and her canines are enjoying the series.

Haha! Thanks for the encouragement;-) anyway, have a great 4th of July. My dachshunds tell me to say hi to Boomer. They cant wait to read his spin-off, and hopefully many other spin-offs as well. And of course, the continuation in September.

  2. I don’t think Gregory is the sharing type! Happy will need to find love elsewhere, so you still have a chance.

He probably would be easy, yes. I got the distinct impression he was one of the minoritywho didnt want to erradicate the Nephilim, so maybe he’s even considering human partners. *happy sigh* 😀 Then again, what would be worse for Gregory: having Sam pick Ahriman or Happy for breeding? Lol

  3. I think of the whole bunch, Happy would the the easiest to tempt!

LOL, true! If he’s not taken, can i have him please? 😉

  4. Aren’t they all? LOL. I think Happy is due for a little romance in his life.

I would love a short story with Boomer. But I am dying to read about Happy, the (sex starved?) angel;-)

  5. A reader was joking (I think) about me doing a story from Boomer’s point of view. Sounds crazy, but i keep thinking of doing it. A thriller or mystery short story maybe!

  6. I adore Boomer. He is my very favorite animal character in a written series – seriously. Will Sam let him “off the chain” and release his inner Helhound fully anytime? A Boomer centered short-story, in 3rd person, would be great.
